Mechanically Active Hydrogel for Healing Intestinal Fistulas Effective sealing treatment of intestinal fistula avoids secondary surgery, but many challenges remain in sealing treatment. In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/advs.202510717), Ze Li, Jinjian Huang, Peige Wang, Jianan Ren, Xiuwen Wu, and co‐workers report a mechanically active hydrogel sealant. It sealed intestinal fistula in situ, constricted the fistula, and promoted the healing of intestinal fistula by modulating the mechanosensitivity of intestinal epithelial cells. This provides a promising strategy for sealing intestinal fistula.
