About Nasim C. Sobhani: Guest Editor

Nasim C. Sobhani, MD, MAS, is an associate professor of maternal fetal medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle. She then received fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine and a master’s degree in clinical research from UCSF. Upon completion of her fellowship, she joined the UCSF faculty and was named medical director of its Endocrine, Diabetes, and Pregnancy Program.
